Before you sign...
If you’re going to sign a contract for a job, house or a cohabitation agreement, check the practical tips and explanation about what you should be aware of.
Not everyone realizes that signing for these kinds of things also impacts your pension. The www.nuietsdoenaanjepensioen.nl website (Dutch) helps you remember to take a look at your pension details before signing for a job, cohabitation agreement, or house. You’ll find all the information you need there. The website also includes various films with general pension information.
Of course, TNO Pension Fund also has various general tips if you’ve just started a new job, as well as an extensive list with an explanation of when you should take action:
- If you change employer
- If you are incapacitated for work
- If you get married, start cohabiting, or sign a registered partnership agreement
- If you get a divorce or terminate a registered partnership
- If you move abroad
- If you become unemployed
- If you start working more or less hours
- If you take leave on an interim basis, such as parental or maternity leave
- If you want to take advantage of one of the options, such as accruing extra or net pension
If you are still unsure,
it’s best to contact our pension administrator AZL directly. They arrange all financial and administrative issues regarding your pension. You can contact them on 088 – 1162 401 or by e-mail at pf-tno@azl.eu.
