Three practical tips
- If you want to accrue pension yourself.

- If you want to know how Board member fees and bonuses are handled.
How can you accrue pension yourself?

If you are employed by TNO or another employer affiliated with TNO Pension Fund, you are a member of the pension scheme as standard. You have no choice in this. You do, however, have the option to arrange an addition to your state pension and the pension you accrue via your work. You can do that, for instance, by supplementing your pension by means of bank savings or by taking out insurance, such as an annuity. Or you can voluntarily accrue extra pension capital at TNO Pension Fund.

How are Board member fees and bonuses handled?

All TNO Pension Fund Board members receive a reward commensurate with responsibility, job requirements, and time commitment. The exact amounts are stated in the annual report (page 26).The salary of the Administrative office management is also based on TNO’s remuneration policy and, like TNO, has no performance-related remuneration. The remuneration policy therefore does not include bonuses that are linked to returns or to taking risks.
