Sander Mooij from Bennekom is a measurement technician at Marin who in his spare time likes to go on holiday in his camper. He doesn’t want to wait until retirement to do fun things. Two women at the helm: Suzanne van Kooten (left) has been director since April 2023 and Nancy Westerlaken (right) has been Chair of the Board of TNO Pension Fund since February 2023. TNO Pension Fund is quite unique in this regard. On a sunny day in 2023, they talked about what drives them, about their challenges and what they do outside of work. Hans
We asked what you consider important with respect to sustainability at the Fund. Hans Groenewegen, senior asset manager of TNO Pension Fund, is ensuring, among other things, that the fund has started working on this. In the spring of 2023, Hans told us what green steps are being taken. And more have been added. You can read about it on page 73 of the 2023 annual report.

For Ben and Lisa, the counter in the TNO Pension Fund retirement portal may show around 40 years left until their retirement. Still, it can be interesting – and certainly important at certain times – to think about your retirement now.
